Prayers & Prayer List

For those on the Front Lines

Thank you for health care workers, grocery workers, cleaners, librarians, postal workers, and more. We are beginning to notice more deeply the many marginalized for centuries especially African-Americans and Native Americans. Let us pray.

Prayer List

We ask that our parishioners pray for Alli, Anne, Bob, Carolyn, Connor, George, Sharon, Rose, Millie, Joell, Mario, Connie, Scott, and Kristina.

Celebrating Creation

Prayer for Joy in God's Creation O heavenly Father, who filled the world with beauty: Open our eyes to behold your gracious hand in all your works; that, rejoicing in your whole creation, we may learn to serve you with gladness; for the sake of him through whom all things were made, your Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

A Prayer for the Power of the Spirit Among the People of God

God of all power and love,
we give thanks for your unfailing presence
and the hope you provide in times of uncertainty and loss.
Send your Holy Spirit to enkindle in us your holy fire.
Revive us to live as Christ’s body in the world:
a people who pray, worship, learn,
break bread, share life, heal neighbors,
bear good news, seek justice, rest and grow in the Spirit.
Wherever and however we gather,
unite us in common prayer and send us in common mission,
that we and the whole creation might be restored and renewed,
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Pledges & Donations

Pledges and other donations can be mailed to the church. If you do not have envelopes, we will use the name on your check. You can also use bill pay option from your bank, set up a bank transfer, or donate using our PayPal.

Under the new CARES Act up to $300 of your donation to a church is tax deductible even if you do not itemize deductions.

Mark 14:7 This short phrase is one of the most iconic groupings of words in the Bible.  It’s an important verse for me, and not only because it is one of those relatively few occasions when, since Jesus is being quoted directly, we the readers are enjoined to sit up and pay attention. The very fact of this small section …

Pray for those who influence public opinion Almighty God, you proclaim your truth in every age by many voices: Direct, in our time, we pray, those who speak where many listen and write what many read; that they may do their part in making the heart of this people wise, its mind sound, and its will righteous; to the honor of Jesus Christ our Lord.
