A Message from Mother Katrina
The Epiphany season was launched with much joy at Christ Church. We enjoyed an Epiphany dinner and celebrated the the arrival of the Magi at the manger with lovely, candlelight worship on January 6th. As we continue into the Epiphany season, the lessons will present different manifestations of God present in the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. I invite you as you listen closely to the Gospel each week. Who is Jesus as Christ in the Gospel stories? How is God being revealed? It’s also a perfect time in the aftermath of the holiday hoopla to quietly contemplate how Jesus Christ is being revealed to you each day. He truly is with you in your daily life; but most of us are too rushed or distracted to see the presence of the Holy One in the simple realities of everyday life. In the cold, gray that is January, look for the Bright Morning Star, our Lord, Jesus Christ to guide you into a grace-filled 2023.

Results of Reverse Advent Collection
WOW. WOW. WOW. The participation in the Reverse Advent project which collected food and toiletries for our Chow pantry, is beyond words. We collected 794 items/874 pounds of food and personal care items. This serves 33 families! Our goal was to serve 24 families, and because of your generosity, we met that goal and more. God blesses us when we can help others. As Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.” Job well done, Christ Church family.
Thank you so much and blessings for a Happy New Year.
