The Vestry is happy to announce that Mother Katrina will be our Interim Priest on a full time basis as we start our journey to find a successor to Mother Elizabeth. Mother Katrina brings with her a broad range of experience and the necessary skill set to support and guide us during this transitional period. Please join us on Sunday, September 18 to welcome Mother Katrina to Christ Church and to our community.

- Administrator/Associate for Pastoral Care, John’s Episcopal Church, Ellicott City, Maryland; 2017-2022. Rejuvenated pastoral care programs; designed structure to support comprehensive pastoral care for a resource size congregation; recruited, trained, & encouraged leadership; nurtured community partnerships; liturgical leader, preacher, pastor & spiritual guide.
- Episcopal Chaplain, UMBC (University of Maryland Baltimore County), Catonsville, Maryland; 2012-2022. Co-led the Lutheran-Episcopal Campus Ministry. Led weekly program including dinner, discussion, and worship. Co-founder of Retriever Essentials, a comprehensive program to eliminate food insecurity on campus.
- Chaplain, The Corporation for the Relief of Widows & Children of the Clergy in the Episcopal Diocese of Maryland, Baltimore, Maryland, 2017-2019. Ministered to the ill, dying, and bereaved.
- Rector, Church of the Holy Apostles, Arbutus, Maryland, 2001-2015. Led a conflicted parish through transition; revitalized a stagnant parish through worship, preaching, and development of outreach; created and led a doctoral project of liturgical exploration examining the congregation’s identity, mission and systemic functioning; led congregation through successful capital campaign and development of capital improvement plan resulting in full accessibility; reorganized office administrative systems; mentored and supervised deacons, postulants and candidate for ordination; liturgical leader, preacher, pastor & spiritual guide.
- Assistant Rector, Martin’s-in-the-Field Episcopal Church and Day School; Severna Park, Maryland, 1999-2001.
