CHOW® Pantry Donations Drop-Off
Many of our CHOW® clients rely on this service for meals for their families and this Saturday, December 12th we will be accepting drop-off donations between 10 a.m. and noon. Help us make this most difficult of holiday seasons a little brighter with your donations of any of the following:

- Cereal
- Syrup
- Saltine Crackers
- Toilet Paper
- Toiletries (Full Size)
- Other Paper Products
- Apple Juice
- Jelly
- Feminine products
- Toilet paper
- Diapers

2021 Pledges
|
As we pointed out in last week's newsletter, the disruption of our regular income generating activities has made this a difficult year for Christ Church financially and we expect this to continue into 2021. Please consider the substantial operating shortfall we face, of approximately $90,000, as you make your pledge for 2021, as we strive to maintain a strong presence for ourselves and the broader community.

2021 Liturgical Calendars

Calendars are now available. This year’s photo features our 2019 Christmas pageant. Please contact Barb Stanton (607-723-7268 or COUNSEL44@yahoo.com) and she will make arrangements with you to receive one. The cost remains $5.00.

Winter Warmth
|
2020 marks the third continuous year of Christ Church's Winter Warmth project! We have already begun tying bags of hats, scarves, gloves (and socks) to the railing outside the church for people in our community to take as needed.
We are currently accepting donations. Donations can be dropped off during office hours. If you decide to create your own bags to tie to the railing please let the office know so we can keep track of how many bags we put out this year. Our total was well over 250 bags in 2019!

Sunday Worship at 10:00 a.m
|
Join us as we celebrate the Holy Eucharist on the Third Sunday of Advent. The service will be live via Zoom and live streamed to YouTube. It will be available to watch on demand on the event page and YouTube at the end of the service. Please look out for the Zoom link and the order of service in the Sunday Bulletin.

|
|
Let me not look away, O God, from any truth I should see. Even if it is difficult, let me face the reality in which I live. I do not want to live inside a cosseted dream, imagining I am the one who is always right, or believing only what I want to hear. Help me to see the world through other eyes, to listen to voices distant and different, to educate myself to the feelings of those with whom I think I have nothing in common. Break the shell of my indifference. Draw me out of my prejudices and show me your wide variety. Let me not look away. Amen
