Eternal rest grant unto them,
O Lord, and let perpetual light
shine upon them. May the souls
of all the faithful departed, through
the mercy of God, rest in peace and rise in glory.

Rest in Peace:

Sharon Schubert & Robert Harlost

It is my sad duty to inform you of two deaths in our congregation.

Sharon Schubert, a long-time member, died Sunday, January 24 after a difficult illness. Sharon was very active in creating beautiful bulletin boards, teaching in Sunday School, and in recent years a regular at the 8 a.m. service. Many of you will remember much more that Sharon did and shall recall delightful times together. I enjoyed talking to her about her kaleidoscope collection, Texas, and general good conversation.

We are discussing service details given the constraints of the pandemic. Please hold Sharon's husband, Brian, children, Tracy and Jeremy, and all the family in prayer.

Robert Harlost, died on January 19 of complications from COVID-19. Bob was a member of Christ Church and more recently we saw his daughter, Amy Morgan, and granddaughter Macaila. Bob worked for the U.S. Post Office for nearly 40 years and was very active in the community. Macaila was active in our youth group and confirmed at Christ Church.

The family will hold a small service celebrating Bob's life on Friday, February 5. Please keep Amy (Dan), Robert Jr, Macaila, Alex and all the family in prayer.
